The newest Apple service, the iPad, is finally something that you can buy now that it is often released. This now popular device is something that for many looking like a really large iPhone. For the most part these two devices are a very common concept with similar home button and touch screen. What does the iPad do with iPhone applications which you may already have?

Since the iPad uses a very similar operating system to the iPhone or iPod touch, these applications do work on the larger device. From the first day it was released the older application run fine on the larger screen so it won't be a problem to use your favorite applications and games on it.

How does the iPad work with such small applications? Do they really fill up the whole screen or are they a tiny box in the middle of the 10 inch display?

Actually this device has the capacity to run both screen settings as such. When you begin up an iPhone request is starts smaller in the center of the screen with the exact same resolution as it is on your phone. On the screen near the bottom right there is an option that will make the resolution stretch out and fill up the screen so that it is much bigger.

This can be a good thing and a poor thing. Many think that using it full sized makes the request look stretched and just doesn't look right. If it really is small in the middle of the screen, it looks a bit silly.

This won't be a problem for too long. There are many of the popular applications that are already out that have the iPad version. It really is just a matter of time before many of the applications will be made for the 10 inch screen so that it's not necessary to mess around with resolution trouble.
